I would take it back to Albertsons and show it too customer service and ask for a new loaf
I would ask to speak with a manager
The garlic bread comes in a sealed bag you can heat it up in the oven with. It's entirely possible that an employee simply missed this and returned it to the shelf or even an irresponsible customer. Like you would for any other product, check it for tampering or damage before taking it to checkout. The only way to tamper with the garlic bread is to break a seal, usually a STICKER and that makes it very obvious. In the 40 years I've shopped there I've yet to see any intentional disregard for health and safety. Simply return the product with a valid receipt to have it exchanged or refunded. Should you find that seal broken, bring it to the front and point it out, whether you are buying one or not or notify someone in the bakery if they are back there. In the mean time, the garlic bread and other bakery items may be placed across the store in other departments (next to the deli and checkstands are but two). Those department employees will also be glad to assist you.
Take it and your receipt back to the store and tell them you got it that way. More than likely a kid or teen did it. I dont think they check bagged goods. Maybe they will now. I certainly will. Thanks for the heads up.
Yes bring it in and they will give you a new one
They wanted me to come back up. I will save the picture of interest and the loaf no matter how moldy. Its Goss that I brought this In my house
Return it!
The health dept would lay very stiff fines on them even unopened food returned must b thrown out they do give past date foods to the food bank but any returned food even canned must b thrown out health and liability laws require it u cant catch everybody that shows poor judgement just return it get a fresh loaf or a refund and call it to their attention
