Nice park.

Simple yet large park near the fairgrounds. It has what you need with lots of grass, parking, shade, bathrooms, jungle gyms and even a baseball field. Grass could use some love but we are in a desert. The 4th of July was insane at this park and that's an understatement.

Very nice relaxing park not really to big but it's good has tennis courts it's right in front across from the Fair Grounds and Rodeo if you visit enjoy a walk around the pond on the backside good spot to health walk

As with any park or most anywhere at night, you should be careful. During the day though it is super open and public.
Yes, but they kill the lake off nearly every year. The fish are over flow from The Snake River so get ready for some carp, pike minnow, and occasional catfish. I have seen turtles a couple of times.
There is no fence so you have to keep an eye on little ones closely.
Around the whole park is a good square city block for lack of accate distance. It has a pond to walk around and fish in too
