I've bought pastries from Haydels throughout the years and they are of high quality. I've never had Haydel's handpies. I wouldn't hesitate to spend my money on them, should I have the urge for a handpie-- or two! I've never been disappointed in their products.

no Hubigs pies hasn't reopened, there's been rumors only. Haydel's Bakery makes some similar and available around town
There not as good as hubigs but they might do ,i miss lemon. :-(
No, they have not rebuilt their bakery since the fire several years ago. Haydel's does make hand pies that are quite delicious.
