When they start selling depends on when Carnival starts they usually start a few weeks before Parade start rolling. But you can order one all year round as long as you call and give them a 24-hour advance notice you can even special-order the colors you'd like I did hot pink and black for my birthday and rainbow for my best friends and when my cousin came in from out of town and Washington I got one in the shape of a fleur-de-lis black and gold because she likes the Saints
You order it any day of the year and they will make it for you.
