Depends on how warm you want the wayer, swimming beaches open ladt weekend in may.
Just got back from fishing, water temp is 60, so it's a bit cold now. I think the swim beach opens on Labor Day, but I'd call them and ask or check their website.
Right now its a little to cold. memorial weekend at the end of may is not bad. It epends on the outside temp.
You can swim anytime, but the beach area is only open during the season. Not sure on the exact open date, but you can call the number on the website, they are very helpful.
Would be a little chilly until the water warms up in June. Beautiful park with a lot of wildlife. Especially for bird watchers.
