Why does Home depot people who say " I don't know; that's not my department " Then after about 45 min. Of waiting for someone from that department decides to shut their yap to finally help you they still have no clue about what you are asking.

That is the way of retail these days. In the past, when someone didn't know an answer or location, they would go and find someone who did. The Walmart model of customer service is taking over American retail.
