It's a good idea to sing along while you're learning to play. This will help you with timing, which is critical for guitar players. You don't have to sing during a performance.
I don't take lessons but if you can't sing it will be fine you will just tell him and he SHOULD make stuff easier for you .
You're going to have to contact the store directly for pricing. Singing isn't required at all to learn an instrument, but does definitely help.
Singing has nothing to do directly with learning guitar. If you go in there is a post it board by the restrooms. Normally people post lessons and looking for band mate ads there. Good luck
When I was a teenager, I'd put my favorite song on (the record player) and pick out the notes on my guitar and sing along. Good ol' Glen Campbell and sweet Joni Mitchell! π΅πΆπΈπ€...but close your bedroom door first. Practice makes perfect.
