Yes. I would say it is ideal for children 3 to 12.
Absolutely an 11 year old and up should be able to enjoy the experience. I'm an adult and did have a good time except that some of the machines on the top floor are broken so there's a bit of a line.
I feel an 11 year old would still enjoy this experience... not sure about any ages over that🤔
I think any kid willing to explore and learn will find something of interest there. There's a lot of things to do and a presentation every thirty minutes. There's even a playground for the kids to run around and burn off some energy. Best activity is the wax hand art. It's $14.99 for one hand that you mold and color. $19.99 for two handed sculptures. Start at the fourth floor and work you're way down.

When i went last month with significant other, there were many kids of that age and under. They also have presentations and you can make your own crayons and such
