Like Margeaux, I have never found The Fresh Market to be crowded. It's well staffed & I don't think I've ever had to wait in a long line. As for timing, I usually go between 11 A.M. & 3 P.M..
Its never really crowded at all. I like to think of this market as a specialty market. Therefore it isn't very crowded, because people are just grabbing a few things.
