We did ours in the afternoon and had a lot of sharks show up.

There was a morning and a afternoon swim. I asked if one time was better than the other. The guide said no. There's no rhyme or reason when the sharks show up. Sometimes you'll have more in the morning. Sometimes more in ther afternoon. But it is a awesome experience.

...after they've had a full meal!! I was told the sharks don't really keep to any schedule, so morning or afternoon would be a personal preference.

Best time for me was early morning on a sunny day, you can see a bottom of the ocean.

Morning is the best time as they are still active. They are primarily active during dawn/dusk and the morning tour will give you the most time out with them

I haven't been yet but plan to soon
