No, I go here too much and I never feel like I'm in danger. There is usually a mix of kids and adults having fun here. Lots of fun games, totally recommend going!
Agreed, it's blown a bit out of proportion. They do have some cops stationed there later in the day (at least on weekends), so that's probably helped.
