Don't know about Michael's but Walmart has them in craft section by the sewing machines. I hope this helps!
Sorry, not sure if the have a denim patch, but I know they have some great ornamental patches. Give them a call.
They do carry patches and I have buy some not jeans but blue enough to cover jeans.Just call your local store to confirm.
