Hello Ms. Mercer, We would have to see a specimen to identify for certain. Could you send us a pic of the bugs? I can tell you that brown dog ticks are by far the most common tick in south Florida and the only tick that can complete their life cycle indoors. They are typically a brownish, red color instead of black and the young seed ticks have 6 legs. If you check the dog behind the ears and on the legs you will generally find them if this is an issue. My best guess is that you are finding something other than ticks. Send us a picture if you are able to. Thank you, Chris - Petri

Hi Ms. Pineau, Vault fumigation of the bed is probably your best bet. The bed frame would probably have to be disassembled or moved to be fumigated in a vault to eliminate termites. Only other viable option is tenting entire house. There are some heating options as well but I would recommend vault fumigation. Our company dies not do this but we could make recommendations such as Nozzle Nolen out of West Pal Beach - Chris, Petri Pest Control.
