If my wife and I are both eligible to be interred at a national cemetery can we be placed next to each other? We are planning for cremation. (I am 100% disabled, service connected, and received 3 Purple Hearts in Vietnam).

My father is interned in Palm Beach National Cemetery. The first person who passes name will be on the front of the Stone. The back of the stone will bear the other person's name. And cremation remains will be placed in their separate containers on top of each other buried. Not sure how they handle it with the mausoleum. They did have both options in ground burial of cremation remains in the mausoleum.

Yes. Not side by side, but shared marker together.
