If I could give zero stars I would I’m even talking to A lawyer about Malpractice ... The trauma they put my husband through because they made BIG MISTAKES and confusing their patients to the point they embarrassed him and humiliated him when THEY got wrong name on the chart The center didn’t bother to contact me about it all they gave him as an apology and I’m sorry an apology doesn’t cut ... The nurse should be fired for what they did He actually might come out worse than when he came in because of what they’ve done so if you wanna go ahead and put your love ones through trauma and send them here

I spent 6 days here and was held in detox against my will, so that the facility could bill my insurance @UnitedHealthcare the max paycode. I was drugged, denied any requests to speak with a DON or Clinical Director. I was told I would be escorted on to the sidewalk just outside of the property Gates without my belongings if I chose to leave against medical advice. I was told by a staff member that if I really wanted to leave I would be discharged against medical advice more expediently if I presented agitation and the lobby and Drew attention from other patients. Some of the technicians were kind but most of the nursing staff was hateful and disgruntled and actively ignored and continued chit chat instead of expediently helping patients waiting in line several times a day everyday. There was little to no opportunity as far as I could tell to use the pool. I was in this facility for 6 days, was eventually discharged against medical advice and escorted to Palm Beach international airport where I was then allowed to access my belongings finally. In the six days that I spent here I did not speak to an actual psychiatrist or therapist individually about mental health concerns that I was originally seeking help for one single time except to arrange my preliminary discharge date a week after I ended up leaving against medical advice AMA. Several of the other residents were moving between programs halfway houses and situations and were grateful to be in lockdown capped away from drugs, although a technician dead overdose during the time that I stayed there. I never was allowed to see a clinical director or a director of nursing or general manager or charge nurse of any kind. I was repeatedly denied any contact of family member. When I pressed for immediate against medical advice discharge, I was told that I could write an impact letter to my family support that would be reviewed and sent out via USPS that my family could then respond to. My husband, who repeatedly tried to contact me at the facility beginning the day after I admitted myself, was told I was unresponsive and refused to speak to him. There was feces on my bathroom wall (rm 137) for the entire time I stayed although I was locked out of my room for maintenance and cleaning purposes everyday for up to several hours. When I arrived after 14 hours of travel I was asked to strip pop and squat and pee in a cup which instantly failed for a myriad of substances I have never ingested. When I asked to see the levels that came back from the lab work done by a third party lab on that very same urine sample those medications were no longer listed and my urinalysis was clean. Nonetheless for some reason I was being charged detox pay codes and staying in the detox section being given a benzodiazepine that kept me in a zombie like state for several days. I developed a urinary tract infection while a resident in this facility. Do not expect to swim. The positive feedback that I have for this facility is that the food was absolutely phenomenal and they very expediently fulfilled cigarette and electronic vaping device orders. The AC units worked hard and the bed I had in detox was comfortable. Every room had a television with 50 channels. The campus was a renovation-in progress dumpy motel in the slums about 30 minutes from PBI. When I did my intake interview with Ben and Boca health services I was not informed that I would be going to this location in this location is not at all what is advertised. The providers that were charged with adjusting my mental health medications were young nurse practitioners who I could barely understand through thick accents. There are several species of wild animals on campus. My case manager was kind, I spoke with her briefly two separate occasions for about 10 minutes. My therapist was @#$!? ?!&_ All in all I would give this place zero Stars if I could and I intend to file official complaints with the state of board of Florida. No matter what your situation you can find a better treatment facility than this for the same or less out of pocket.

I was at BHOPB for 16 days and it was wonderful. I'm not the same person I was when I went in. I was on the mental health side and I found the groups to be so helpful and informative. Therapists like Tracey, Neph, Jessica, Clover, and Breana created a safe place in group where we could be real and vulnerable. My individual therapist, Jessica, was absolutely fantastic. She helped me process some very difficult traumas with gentleness and compassion. The equine therapy program offered to the mental health clients was wonderful. Even people who were afraid of horses participated and felt their anxiety levels decrease. The techs took great care of us and the food was fantastic. The chef even made me a special dessert on my birthday. I met a group of ladies who will be in my life forever as we support each other in the real world. The only downside was the pool. It's not properly taken care of and as a resident who looked forward to pool time I was deeply disappointed that it was not clean enough to use. Don't hesitate to go to BHOPB if you are struggling with your mental health. Just remember you'll get out of it what you put into it. Go to the groups and participate. You'll come out transformed.

You can get in. But good luck getting out. I only live about 25 miles away and when I chose to leave, AMA, I was not even allowed a phone call. Had to walk to a gas station and beg strangers to use their phone to call my husband to pick me up.
