You can get in. But good luck getting out. I only live about 25 miles away and when I chose to leave, AMA, I was not even allowed a phone call. Had to walk to a gas station and beg strangers to use their phone to call my husband to pick me up.
Leaving against medical advice has its own procedures that all patients sign and agree to upon admitting into their program. If you leave successfully and are local, they can accommodate transportation.
