It's a really good Bakeshop and trust me you will love the desserts they have there. If they had a lot of bad reviews they wouldn't be as big as they are now and he wouldn't be as famous as he is now so for those reviews I would just ignore them and go myself and find out and try out to do desserts because I went to that Bakery and they are really really polite and the desserts are really good I spent over at least almost $100 just getting cannolis chocolate cake cookies brownies and other stuff so try it out
The canoli's are amazing, loved the cookies, we bought a chocolate cake that was to die for. And I had to get a cupcake.. it's worth the drive to walk around also and see the other many shops and then head over to the pier which is close.. we stayed all night walking and enjoying the pier at Santa Monica!
