You don't have to take a boat to swim with them. I'm not sure if they offer reduced rates for families. You may want to check their site.

They have their own little water area where you and family stand on a platofrm and thry lower it to around waist level. Its really awesome!!
No boats. For our shallow water experience you walk out onto a dock and they lower to a comfortable level. We had 3 kids on our group. So it was about waste high.
You walk out on docks that are over their lagoon. They come right up to you. The amazing trainers have taught them to kiss you and everything. It's a great place to go!
