Hi Moe, I work at Horseshoe lake. Yes we have a campground however it is closed until further notice due to staff shortage. When it opens the fee is $8/night. No electricity, no showers, pit toilets.
Camping opened may 2 2021 again there has been camping n a area out there for years it cost $8 a night max of 7 nights in a 30 day period
Everyone keeps saying there is no camping. The website says there is a campground with 24 sites, pit toilets, and pump water. There IS camping. I just want to know fees. If you don't know, don't answer.
The campground is still closed as of 8/7/19 which really sucks because I just drove from pa and I'm ready to take a nap!
There is a Campground out past the causeway. However they are not taking reservations until June and the fee schedule is the same for all Illinois State Parks. Which can be found at IDNR.gov
There's no Campground there only fishing
I've only seen people fishing at the lake. I've never seen camping. The have an office located on the lake, call the office that way you'll receive accurate information.
They had a drop box last year don't know if camping is yet open
There's no camping there that I know of I've been there if you take a horseshoe lake off of one I love it you can't camp sorry have a nice day God bless
