We have adopted pets from Spencer's for our last 5 dogs. Initially it was out of the kennel in Ofallon. They were always nice and had a great love for their animals. Then they changed their process and went to a foster system where the dogs are boarded in various homes. Jeanette oversees this process and handles the adoption piece of it which includes a lot of travel and vetting of individuals wanting to adopt.Our contact with Jeanette has always been positive. She also loves these animals. Good organization.

I rescued two puppies and I was looking for a place that would be willing to take them in and nurse them back to health. My kids had a bad feeling about the Lady but I was willing to give her the puppies anyway well I will say now that I wish I would have just kept them she seems very off putting . And very sketchy considering that she has no actual location or place of business I would not suggest her for anything of any kind seems really antisocial and weird

There was a pup here that my family absolutely adored and we were denied because we had to have another dog here to get him. My wife is a stay at home mom and I have 2 young children that could of gave him plenty of attention and I could of taken him to my moms a lot to play with other dogs. The woman wouldn’t work with me here it was a flat out no. I do not recommend this place.
