I don't think so just because of the fact that some people aren't trustworthy and its a really big place

I am not sure. It is a public place so I would say you can. But look into other parks or veterans organizations like American Legion, VFW or other places. I don't think Cross Creek Mall would be good place to walk unless there was several walking at a time.
