Loved it. Didn't get to as much as I would have liked. It was hot but what I did, I enjoyed. Definitely will go back.

My favorite park in Fayetteville. Numerous trails, all of them are a beautiful adventure.

Yes. It has a paved walking trail and play area, as well as a dirt trail through the woods.
As far as I know, the nature center is currently closed due to covid. Also I dont know if they would even accept it. As someone who has spent a lot of time with reptiles, I would suggest that you put it back where you found it, because it will be much happier in the wild.. the thing with tortoises is that if you try to relocate them, then they will still try to head back to where they came from.. unless you find them trying to cross a road, then it is fine to carry them towards the direction in which they were heading.
No lake to fish in
I don't think so. You can camp at Raven Rock.
They are both open, but the Nature Center is closed.
I do not remember seeing one, but they do have some seating area. Lake Rim does have a BBQ area, but you.may has e to reserve it. Personally, the seating area is not clean with the over filling trash cans and trash all over the area. Fone another park unless you just plan on just going for a walk or run.
Yes as well as the kids playground and the waterfall is so spectacular ...nature center bldg is closed unfortunately
Call the ranger station, but I have never seen anyone on the river fishing.
They do an animal feeding time tour every Saturday and Wednesday at 4 pm at the Nature Center. Wednesdays only during winter season.
Paved Cape Fear River Trail is 10+ miles one way. The mountain bike trail is 11+ miles
Closes at sunset. No camping.
Just remember, it's actually illegal in NC to take photos of someone ON the railroad tracks. Although, folks seem to love doing that at Clark Park.
