Yes! You are not sent to the emergency room unless it is necessary. There are on-site x-rays as well as shots and/or prescriptions available to treat acute pain.
Definitely, I have gone there for my back pain, and given a shot, muscle relaxer I believe, and gave me a prescription for tramadol, however they don't give stronger narcotics. They are very pleasant and usually not much of a wait time. They will probably recommend that you see an orthopedic or your PCP.
I would say no because they will send you to emergency room anyway..
