My wife went to urgent care and waited until closing to get a prescription. Was told they would call it in to Walgreens but apparently Walgreens never got it and then the urgent care was closed by the time she got to Walgreens. The Walgreens employees have said this kept happening from this location.

I was dropped off at Ochsner Urgent Care uptown on Magazine! Upon my arrival I was told that my insurance was not going to be covered at this particular location! I was hyperventilating and took a Uber so the nurse said she could not let me go back outside in the heat and she got permission to override my insurance so I could be seen! To me that was above and beyond care! My experience was awesome and I wish I could return to this location every time I’m sick!!! Thank You for letting me get seen and the kind service I received from the front desk too the back room where I got help from the staff!!! 💯👍

I went for a possible staph infection and they didn't lance it but are still treating me for staph with antibiotics. You can build up an immunity to them so this may have been unnecessary. They sent my script to my home pharmacy in ponchatoula although I told them to send it to walgreens in New orleans so that I can pick it up after work because my home pharmacy will be closed when I make it back to ponchatoula after work. I am now being charged cash price since the script was duplicated.

They do not accept Medicare/Medicaid which is wildly bizarre and feels classist especially for an urgent care particularly one that has a “diversity equity and inclusion” section on their website…
