Stupid question,but wondering if people are still living in the swamp areas, like you would see in movies? Just curious 😎

Yes but this is more of a urban environmental center. This is also a different kind of swamp area that fills in during rainfall and wet times. When we visited last summer there was no standing water but still had wetland characteristics, plants, etc...
