Wondering why I see significant charges from BREC each and every tax statement if they are charging admission fees here. Where are the tax dollars going?

The Swamp is okay. We’ve seen Cedar Waxwings and Owls there. The problem is, they charge money to go, and the wildlife are few and far between. The bird feeders aren’t kept clean either. The indoor exhibits are neat, so that’s probably why they charge money.

Never a bad experience. It's a nice walk.

Wonderful gem of a swamp adventure. Great for kids and senior activities. Even a nice place for relaxing lunch break.

Dogs are not allowed on a regular basis but they do hold dog day based events.
Yes. as taken from their website. ADMISSION: Ages 2 and younger: free Ages 3-17: $2 Ages 18-64: $3 Ages 65 and older: $2.50 Full-time college students with university ID: $2.50
Two.
I didn't see anyone fishing when I was there on a perfect fishing-morning. Also, I don't recall seeing any fishing spots. The water is only in certain places and more like turtle ponds than fishing ponds. I seriously doubt fishing is allowed or would be fruitful.
Yes the center is,I wouldn't recommend the trail,
Entry fee is only $3 for each adult. I don't think they charge extra for taking pictures.
No, but they stand outside of visitor center and get to pay a fee based on age. The center is worth it. You could enter from library entrance and avoid visitor center but you would miss photos of actual animals at park and numerous live wildlife.
I'm not certain about what "tgis" is referring to. Let me know so I can give you an accurate answer.
Birds and squirrels. You probably won't see the reptiles and amphibians you will find on warm days. The Nature Center has a large collection of reptiles inside though -- you'll get a better look!
Yes but this is more of a urban environmental center. This is also a different kind of swamp area that fills in during rainfall and wet times. When we visited last summer there was no standing water but still had wetland characteristics, plants, etc...
I'm not sure,. Some of the trails are pretty narrow. Also I think the trails would be pretty short for biking. More of a short hike location on site in my opinion. It'd make a great stopping point on a ride though.
$5 I believe
No one of the few things you dont see..they do have a couple at the welcome center along with Snakes... Turtles..and a few other critters..
I haven't seen gators except for eyes above water, but there are multiple sightings of raccoons, turtles, birds of all kinds, and a plethora of insects....
No you cannot Park closes at dark
