Yes, or a Wild Louisiana Stamp to have legal access to the Pearl River Wildlife Management(WMA) area that the range is on. Note that you do not have to "Check-in" at the WMA entrance if you are going directly to the range and leaving without stopping on your way out. After signing in the range, you will be given a "get out of jail" ticket to prove you went to the range, in case a Wildlife officer stops you to check. You can get a ticket and be fined, without proof.
Sorry for the confusion in the answers to this question. Because the range is located on a Wildlife Management Area, you need to have a Hunting or Fishing Licenses just to even be on the property, no matter where you're going.
