Was told by manager at Wells Fargo they will be closing their lease is up.
One store is going to close once the Grocery Outlet is finished being built next year. If you follow the local news, you would have heard that Safeway and Albertsons are owned by the same company and laws prohibit stores from monopolizing in small towns. A temporary exception was made for Baker City but the exception is set to end Summer of '18. No public announcements have been made about what store will stay and which store will go. I have heard that Safeway will be moving to where Albertsons currently is and we will no longer have an Albertsons. I am bummed about Wells Fargo closing on May 2, 2018! I have a feeling that they are closing because there isn't room for them in the Albertsons building. Time will tell.
Or is it just rumors cause wells Fargo is leaving?
