There is some information in the visitor's center, but a better site for slave exhibits is on James Island at McLeod Plantation. Charlestowne Landing is focused on early settlers when the area was a British colony.
Charles Towne Landing State Historic Site has exhibits addressing slavery during the settlement period from 1670-1680 and tells of the plantation era economical model being used in Barbados sugar plantations and the efforts to establish the same type of economy in the new world. For in-depth plantation era slavery information we recommend Drayton Hall, Magnolia Plantation and Gardens or Middleton Place.
No. You need to go downtown to Provost dungeon or the slave market
Charlestown Landing talks more about the European Settlers who first landed in the area. It's definitely a worthwhile place to visit, but the local plantations have more information on slaves who lived in the area. Drayton hall actually has a phenomenal program on the slaves (and eventually free people) who worked and lived there, just look up what time of day when you visit.
Yes... Some
