As I understand it...part of the charm of Mrs. Wilkes, is having to show up, on time and waiting in line. Making friends with the strangers in line beside you, and then dining with your new friends, family style. We changed our travel plans by an entire day to accommodate this quant custom.
Nope, but on a pretty day waiting in line is not so terrible. You'll meet some wonderful people, and the food is worth the wait.
