Very common...light turns fresh meat dark, so they are recovering it...still fresh, but wrapping makes it turn. Publix even does it. Not appetizing, raw, but still good meat, when cooked.
Yes. I have noticed this at the store across from Taco bell. But not at the store across from 7-11 on highway 25 South/main.
