The Church does not have a public food pantry as often run by many organizations in the community. The teachings include the Biblical admonition for each of us to be prepared for our own potential emergencies as we learn and practice provident living skills. If there are instances in which help is needed, we hope family and friends are available to support and assist. If there is a situation of emergency need, and the one in need is a member in good standing, and has no family suppirt, we hope they already know they are encouraged to make their needs known to their ministering Sisters and Brethren. The Bishop will meet with that person and be the judge in Israel as to the counsel and assistance available from the Church. This being said, if a non member, or heretofore, inactive member has a need, they are welcome to contact the Bishop over the geographic area in which they live for counsel and assistance.

You can call the bishop and make an appointment and then your food order will get filled during the next week.
