Yes, there are multiple ways to get involved with the community service side of the congregations/wards that meet here, whether giving or receiving. The members often support each other and others in the community through direct service and ministering that is 1-on-1. The church often dedicates several days a year to larger proactive community projects (like improving parks etc). One example was the help given and recieved during the floods in 2015 that many experienced (video: https://youtu.be/PQDNsGXYHgI ) As of now (Dec 2019) both Carl Reynolds and Matthew Cox that are seen in this video are still involved with the church and community service. Justserve.org is an online community to post service requests and give community service, it also has an app, and I suggest checking it out. Justserve is run by the world-wide Church connected with this location, and is meant to be used at the local community. There is also Latterdaysaintcharities.org at a wider level. I hope this helps
