Is it possible for you to contact driver for customer to meet truck earlier in route for hand delivery of package due to time constraints? Thanks in advance for your time.

Call 1800PICKUPS. Give them tracking number. Tell them you want to pick it up at Will Call at Customer Service desk. UPS will stop your pkg from going to package truck and hold it up front for you. UPS=CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Unfortunately I have tried this and unless you personally know the driver it will not happen you can have the package delivered to your home or have the package held at the facility of UPS located on Howard Street in Spartanburg South Carolina I work in logistics I have tried this
