More then likely it's a pto switch
Thank you for your enquiry! It is always best to bring the unit in so a diagnosis can be made. Have you checked the deck belt - it could be off and if so the blades won't engage. It may also be the PTO switch/PTO clutch - if the switch is defective - it may not supply power to the PTO switch - we would test the switch for Continuity - if it was found to be defective it would be replaced. If you look at your Operators Manual - there are some troubleshooting information in the back of the booklet. We can make a diagnosis and you can order the parts and repair yourself - we charge $75 for a diagnosis. If you have the machine repaired the diagnosis fee is waived - you just pay for the repair + labor. I hope this has been of some help.
