Staff has been slacking lately same for drive thru. But you should have been greeted when you walked in.
Were you seated by a greeter? In any case, waving could work if the wait staff is looking in your direction. Otherwise, hollering might get that wanted attention.
That isnt normal for this place. Hope it got better for you.

Had a similar experience, but were waited on quickly and quite pleasantly by a wonderful waitress who seemed to be immediately demoted to bus boy and it took forever to get our meals and they arrived cold. Inside was practically empty, though they might have had a rush before we arrived for our cold burgers and fries, ugh
