Maybe this is a dumb question but there are no alligators in the area right? Is this freshwater or salt water?

Devil's Den Prehistoric Spring - All questions

Address: 5390 NE 180th Ave, Williston, FL 32696, USA

There are no alligators in the actual Devil's Den spring that you swim in, just fish and turtles. There are other springs and Aquatic locations around the Ocala area that do have alligators but they are marked off. Juniper Springs, another beautiful spring in the area has alligators in one part but not the other. And Blue Spring State Park in Deltona which has manatees in it, also has alligators as well but they don't bother any of the swimmers. And the water in all of these Springs are fresh water.
