Email them from the website to discuss the issue, depending on location they can help direct to the proper resources.
I volunteer there. I'd contact them first before catching the cat. They do have alot of cats. But they are very helpful and will try to help in any way possible.
If you can catch the cat and bring it to the shelter they can help you.
