Walking around the park is free. The pool does cost money. And if you want to have a group have a picnic, then you pay for a permit in advance.

The park itself is free, but if you wanted to use the pool, you need a proper swim suit and there is a fee. I don't know the cost of the pool nowadays, but when you consider inflation, I can speculate that it has increased a lot as we approach higher minimum wages (for entry level jobs/workers). Once we reach the goal of $15 per hour min wage... Look out, because nothing will be cheap & affordable.
