Walking around the park is free. The pool does cost money. And if you want to have a group have a picnic, then you pay for a permit in advance.

Here is what I found and/or know; Alix W. Stanley was an industrialist. A native of Brooklyn, N. Y.. and a resident of this city many years, he was president of the Stanley Rule and Level Co. until its sale to the Stanley Works in 1920 when he became president of the Stanley Securities Co. One of the original trustees of the New Britain Trust Co. and a director at the Stanley Works, he contributed substantially to civic and cultural interests in this city (and Saranac Lake, N. Y). He died at 81 years old in 1953. Stanley Works was a huge employer in New Britain back in the 1970' or so, but now it still has the world headquarters here, but much of the factory has closed and is gone.

I'm not sure, but I don't think so. I have never been asked for ID or if I live here. I would just have cash and a bathing suit. They don't allow cut off jeans because of the filters.

You do not have to be a resident you just have to pay if your not a resident

Only swimming trunks but depends on the life guard you might get away with basketball shorts but I'll suggest just regular swimming trunks
