A public bus such as a city bus, i wouldnt think its illegal to do so. In a school bus the same rules as the school follow on the school bus.
Hi Gabriel, There are no state or federal laws expressly prohibiting the use of cell phones and/or other electronic equipment by students on buses. However, many schools and school districts have policies that restrict or prohibit usage. DATTCO's policy is to defer to districts and the wishes of parents/guardians. Moreover, when usage crosses the line into being unsafe, distracting to the driver, or constituting harassment, then drivers may also restrict or prohibit usage. Hope this helps!
I dont think is illegal, if the student or their parents forgot to say something to the student, it's their right to do so
It is illegal for anyone to record or make phone calls unless it's a emergency on a school bus!
@Dattco Thank you for clarifying.
