It's always best to go str8 to the shelter instead of staying elsewhere n then going to the shelter. Makes the process much harder to get in the shelter. You should be able to ask for a conference or fair hearing to contest paths decision, but you have to do it within the timeframe on ur decision letter...hope this helps

I went today for the first time she told me i had to go back to my dad that the apready withdrew my application and they cant help me i didnt get any letter or even get to do the 10 day process
He has to write a letter and notarized why he doesnt want you there and if they find another family member you can stay they will deny you and tell you they will they can pay your family member money for you to stay there and if they agree your rot waiting for them to help you get your own place you have to get outside help to advocate for you so they can get on there case and have them moving coalition of homelessness can help...I've been threw it I know the process...thank Bloomberg for this he made it harder to even get help th
