Greene county dmv is doing appointment only, but I do believe as long as you have all verified proof of identity you may stand in line at Columbia county dmv to get in an complete all the necessary paperwork for it.
You can make an appointment online. Their appointments are current instead of other DMV's where you have to wait months for an appointment. Just make sure that you have enough proof of identity and residency when you go because you don't they won't accept your information
