Been a long time mailbox customer here and they recently been having some serious issues with their computer system. They lost a really important package of mine and I guess my next step is to file a police report. Just so upset as the service here used to be good enough and now it’s just bad. Stay away if you can.

Is it reasonable to pay $87.40 to ship an 11 lb. box containing six pieces of art pottery from Hudson, NY to Atlanta, GA. Well, yes, I think it is. So why did the UPS Store #5539 on Fairview Ave. charge me $210.70? I can understand the $30 charge to pick up the pieces from the auction house in Canaan, but $9.60 for a shipping box I could have purchased retail for $3.50 plus $76.80 (!) to pack it? I honestly do not begrudge the UPS Store a little mark-up, but I find it very odd that the cost for preparing the items for shipping was considerably higher than the shipping itself. At their prices, I was surprised to open the box upon its arrival in Atlanta and find packing materials consisting of ordinary bubble wrap and styro instead of the scraps of ermine and gold lame the total cost had led me to expect. To the packer’s credit, everything arrived safely, but next time I think I’ll just drive up from Atlanta and pick up my auction winnings personally.

Staff greets you as if they are working in a Siberian gulag work camp. I did not make their career choices, some customer service training should be put in place or payment incentives if needed to improve the work environment and hopefully that will carry over to quality customer service with a smile.

A huge box ( almost 4 ft tall) simply vanished. They didn’t even scanned the package and now package is missing! What that makes you think? This place is a scam!
