All the buildings are connected via fiber optic, if someone has a problem or slow connection it should be reported to maintenance, probably a bad fiber converter or a switch. So the speed of the internet is typically very stable.
In my experience, the Wi-Fi seems to be centered around the library. The farther you get away from there, the more shotty it gets. In the outer reaches of campus, it goes in and out and can be almost non-existent in some places.
