I don't know what is going on with this place. I've called 6 times over the past two weeks to try and schedule an appointment. Each time I've been put on hold for 5+ minutes. Then, after giving them my insurance information, they tell me they will call me back, and then never do. It shouldn't be this difficult just to make an appointment as a new patient.

I have been a patient of Dr. Gayles for over two years. I am seen there at Nona Medical Arts once a month for over 2 years! It appears Dr. Gayles has gotten a lot of new staff who doesn’t make his patience a priority! I had an appointment on Monday August 29th and received a phone call from the front desk stating that my referral from my primary care doctor was not receive, and I could not come to my afternoon appointment until my referral has been received! Again I am a patient of Dr. Gayles for now over two years and the office still cannot get the referrals needed for care in a timely manner. Still this office has not requested my referral from my primary care physician! Each time I’ve called a new person doesn’t know what’s going on or what needs to be done! I have had staff to be rude and unprofessional during the rescheduling and scheduling of appointments! The staff is irresponsible in the handling of my care before and after seeing the doctor! When complaining to the office manager she was more concerned about being friends with the a staff than running the office professionally to ensure patients are cared for… I gave a 2 stars because the doctor seems to be the only person operating in the care of his patience! I have threatened to tell Dr. Gayles what’s happening but I can’t get an appointment!

Dr Gayles cautiously ordered an MRI and X-ray to evaluate my neck pain. He takes time to answer all my questions and listens to all my concerns. Each of his staff members treated me kindly and professionally. They are a prompt organization so very little waiting to see the doctor is a plus as well as all the above mentioned items. This entire group is rare in their superb care of the patient and I would recommend them to anyone needing pain management.
