I ordered cakes on July 6th and they just shipped today. Of course I’m heading out of town Sunday and won’t be here when they arrive. I need to know how they need to be stored when they get here so I can advise my house sitter. Thank you!

Hi Maggie, Apologies for the late reply. Smartcake® storage instructions: Smartcakes® last for 120 days when refrigerated. If not consumed immediately, we recommend you freeze or refrigerate them. Smartbun® storage instructions: Freeze upon arrival. Smartbuns® will last for one year when frozen, and 2 weeks when refrigerated.

Ours normally get put in the freezer until we're ready to use them.
