Those who say "yes," have likely never driven a car before. You control the speed, but the steering wheel is useless. And if you're tall, it's somewhat painful.
You have a gas pedal which also works as the brake, plus a steering wheel. There's no gear shift. Your car can't move outside of its lane as a guide rail constricts the steering to a narrow track. Nonetheless it is good fun to drive around the track. ☺️
