Why did your hospital staff refuse medical treatment to a Veteran who was in Cardiac arrest and later died at a Civilian hospital. Shame on your hospital and staff.

I think it's crazy too! Regardless of his veteran status the Dr's and nursing staff had the obligation to provide emergency stabilizing treatment by law. They not only failed another veteran and cost him his life, but they also broke the law. Everyone involved in his none-care should be fired, and charged. We deserve better! My personal experiences there have always been pretty good.

For one, Jacksonville VA does not have an ER. Option would in Gainesville or one of the City Hospital like Shands. I know nothing of this emergency.
