There is no waiting at the terminal curb due to safety and security regulations. Southwest Florida International Airport (RSW) does have a cell phone lot located at the Airport Service Plaza on Terminal Access Road (main road entrance to RSW) which includes a 7-Eleven gas station and Wendy's Restaurant. Inside the 7-Eleven there is a seating area with Flight Information display screens. Once your party arrives in baggage claim, have them contact you by cell phone and you can arrange to meet each other on the curb. Another option, RSW short-term parking is just a short walk to the terminal building. The first 20 minutes of parking is free, and the first full hour of parking costs $3.00.
You are not supposed to wait at the terminal but 5 or 10 minutes might be OK. There's a cell phone lot where you can wait. Have you guest call your when their plane gets to the gate.
